Tough as nails!
Lightweight, easy to use, and highly manoeuvrable, the
Workhorse KLF300 continues to build on its 21-year heritage of
no-fuss maintenance and tough-as-nails reliability. If it’s a
hard-working steed you’re looking for, then look no further.

TRANSMISSION |
|
|
The unique dual-mode differential is
able to be locked for maximum traction in slippery
situations and then unlocked to enable lighter steering, a
tighter turning circle and minimum ground impact when
operating on delicate surfaces. |
|
|
The semi-automatic, 5-speed plus
reverse gearbox features well-spaced gearing to provide
free-running when the going’s easy and low-down pulling
power for towing or carrying heavy loads.

ELECTRIC START |
|
|
ENGINE |
|
|
Convenient and
reliable electric starting instantly fires the engine into
life with minimum fuss. You’ll never want to look another
pull-starter in the face again once you’ve experienced this
luxury. |
|
|
The Workhorse’s compact, air cooled,
290cc, OHC 4-stroke engine is tuned for a smooth, broad
spread of torquey power and, as expected, offers Kawasaki’s
legendary tougher-than-leather reliability. An internal
balancer keeps vibration levels to a minimum.

SUSPENSION |
|
|
MAINTENANCE |
|
|
Double wishbone suspension at the
front and Quad link rear suspension with 5-way preload
adjustable shocks all-round provide a capable 125mm (front)
and 120mm (rear) travel, soaking up the lumps and bumps with
ease. |
|
|
The KLF300 boasts a host of
low-maintenance, practical features such as shaft drive,
dual hydraulic discs up front and a no-fuss sealed drum at
the rear plus a manual recoil starter as an emergency
backup.
