When Kawasaki released the Workhorse 650 V-Twin it rocked the ATV world. The reaction was due to the 650's awesome power and torque, as well as its comprehensive list of unique features. Like all flagship models, the 650's appeal and affordability is the top end of the market.
Cut from the same "DNA" as its big brother, the new Workhorse 360 4x4 brings most of the 650's unique, superior features to the mass market. It combines the "go anywhere performance" and distinguished list of features of the KVF650 with an all-new, powerful mid-sized 362cm3 engine. The new engine pumps out more than enough power to conquer tough terrain and cope with every need of the average farmer.
A quick glance is all it takes to recognise that the Workhorse 360 4x4 is a capable performer. Considering its bloodline, it's hardly surprising that the new Kawasaki Workhorse 360 4x4 easily out-features and out-performs other ATVs in its class.
Summary of Key Features
- The powerful 362cm3 air cooled SOHC engine puts out more than enough power and torque to muscle its way through a busy day on the farm.
- KAPS (Kawasaki Automatic Power-Drive System) consisting of high, low, neutral and reverse gears, offers ease of use that can only be released by an automatic system that uses a belt-driven torque convertor. KAPS automatically adjusts itself to match changes in speed, load and terrain conditions. Riding is made easy - simply select high or low range, hit the throttle and go. KAPS looks after the rest.
- The mono-style shifter, featuring high, low, neutral and reverse is the same type used on the KVF650, which is highly acclaimed for its ease of use.
- Kawasaki Engine Break Control provides smooth, effective engine braking. Its advanced design is self diagnostic and uses a speed sensor with electric actuator for efficient operation.
- On-demand 2WD/4WD allows you to quickly and easily switch between 2WD and 4WD to best suit changing terrain and riding conditions.
- The Variable Torque Front Differential allows you to conquer almost any terrain imaginable by increasing torque to the front wheels. Because it is lever operated, the rider has full control over the system and can increase traction as needed, or even prior to tackling the obstacle in anticipation that extra traction will be required.
- Fully independent MacPherson strut front suspension delivers 170mm of wheel travel, soaking up the bumps to provide superior levels of rider comfort and ride control.
- Mono-shock rear swingarm suspension offers excellent damping characteristics. Together with the dual-rate springs that are equipped with a 5-stage cam for preload adjustment and 180mm wheel travel, the suspension soaks up the bumps and provides excellent levels of rider comfort and ride control.
- The wet-multi-plate rear disc brake is fully enclosed for maximum protection against water, mud and dust. It requires very little maintenance, has an exceptionally long life, and is exclusive to Kawasaki ATVs.
- An inter-lock starting system allows the ATV to be started in gear feature if a brake is applied, for increased convenience
