The Vulcan 1700 Voyager
ABS takes its place as Kawasaki's flagship touring cruiser.
Not only is it equipped
with full touring amenities like a large frame mounted front
fairing and windscreen, leg shields, ample storage, audio system
and six speed transmission with overdrive, but it has high tech
features like Kawasaki's first fully electronic throttle valve
system with built in cruise control.
It is also fitted with
an advanced ABS system with Kawasaki Advanced Coactive-braking
Technology (K-ACT) that electronically controls brake force
distribution between the front and rear brakes to enhance
overall braking performance.

The 1,700 cm³ liquid cooled, 4-stroke V-Twin
long stroke engine based on that of the Vulcan 2000 delivers
significant torque and power. |

K-ACT (Kawasaki Advanced Coactive-braking

supplementary brake force enhancement for confident, highly
effective braking in all situations. |

Open highway cruising becomes even easier on
the Voyager with convenient and easy to use cruise control
controlled from the right handle. |

In addition to large automobile style dials,
multi function instrumentation ensures the rider is kept fully
apprised of riding conditions. The Integrated audio system is even
iPod compatible. All controls are easily located at the handles. |

The muscular front cowling and windscreen
offers protection from the wind and elements. Mounting the cowling
to the frame rather than the handlebars contributes to light
handling and minimises the effect of wind buffeting. |

The upright riding position, sculpted seat and
floorboards offer all day riding comfort. Low seat height and seat
shape make it easy to reach the ground. Passenger also gets a
sculpted seat with backrest, arm support and floorboards to ensure
a comfortable ride. |

The 50 litre top box is large enough to fit two
full face helmets while the hard, lockable panniers each add 38
litres of storage space. |
